Ultimo aggiornamento: 15 ottobre 2026

IT Service non riceve alcun dato.
- gli account utente del gateway (password conservate solo come hash) e le sessioni attive;
- un registro di controllo degli accessi e delle attività (utente, server, indirizzo IP, ora);
I tuoi diritti
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
This policy describes how the SQL Studio app for macOS, iOS and iPadOS handles data. In short: we do not collect any personal data. The app communicates only with the SQL Studio gateway that you (or your organization) install and manage on your own servers.
Data controller
IT Service, Via Nazionale 120, 90045 Cinisi (PA), Italy, VAT IT06176100821 — support@geolox.it.
Data we do not collect
The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking. It does not send usage data, diagnostics, device identifiers, credentials or database contents to the developer or to any third party. No account with us is required. IT Service receives no data.
How the connection works
SQL Studio does not connect to SQL Server directly: it communicates over HTTPS, with a verified certificate, only with the SQL Studio gateway whose address you enter. The gateway is software that you or your organization install and run on your own servers; it is the gateway that connects to your SQL Server instances. Credentials, queries and results travel only between your device, your gateway and your servers. They never pass through our systems.
Data on the gateway
The gateway is under the control of whoever installs it, who is responsible for the data it processes. Depending on its configuration, it keeps on your organization's servers:
- gateway user accounts (passwords stored only as hashes) and active sessions;
- an audit log of sign-ins and activities (user, server, IP address, time);
- files you upload (for example BACPAC or CSV) and task results, deleted automatically after a configurable period.
The gateway does not store SQL Server passwords: it keeps them in memory only for the lifetime of the connection. For information about this data, contact your gateway administrator.
Data that stays on your device
- Gateway profiles, saved connections and settings (addresses, server names, logins, options): in the app's local storage.
- Passwords and tokens (saved SQL passwords, gateway tokens and Microsoft Entra tokens): only in the device Keychain, as "this device only" items, protected by the system and, if you choose, by Touch ID or Face ID.
- Scripts and files you open or save: wherever you choose.
Signing in with Microsoft Entra
If you choose Microsoft Entra MFA authentication, the app opens Microsoft's sign-in page and receives the token from Microsoft, which it sends to your gateway. Microsoft's privacy policy applies to this step.
System permissions
- Local Network: to reach a gateway on your local network.
- Face ID / Touch ID: to protect stored passwords and unlock the app. Authentication happens on the device: the app never receives biometric data.
Children
The app is a professional tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Your rights
As we do not collect personal data, we hold no information about you. For any question about data processing, or to exercise your rights under the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679), write to support@geolox.it. For data stored on the gateway, contact your organization. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
Changes
Any changes will be published on this page with the update date.
